Dr. Emily Farmer graduated from Cornell University Veterinary school in 2015.  After graduation, she accepted a commission as an active duty Army Officer and spent 5 years in military service.  While stationed in the Central Valley, she and her husband fell in love with the Sierra Nevada Mountains, so she decided to separate from the military and stay here in the Central Valley!  She started a small house call practice in 2019 and enjoys doing spay/neuter to help the local community.  She and her husband have 3 dogs, 2 horses, and a flock of chickens.  They enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and riding their horses.
