A feral cat is a domesticated cat that has become a wild animal. They usually run from humans and have no desire to be handled. If your neighborhood or business has a feral colony, please give us a call. We offer a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program. We can put you in touch with a volunteer who will show you how to trap the kitties. We will spay/neuter, give a rabies vaccine, and apply flea control. Feral cats can be very helpful with rodent control (check out Disneyland's feral colonies!), so they are beneficial to have around! That said we do not want them breeding out of control! This program is paid for by donations made by the public as well as private foundations. Please call us today if you see stray cats! (805)584-3823
All ferals receive a tip on their ear so that everyone knows that cat has been spayed/neutered!
Last Saturday,October 1, 2022 there was a fire in the business adjacent to ours. While our clinic escaped any fire damage, we are unable to use the clinic due to smoke and water damage. We will be using our mobile spay and neuter clinic in our front parking lot so that we can continue to help our communities out until it is safe for us and our patients to be in the building. PLEASE be patient while we navigate this, and understand we are doing our best to accommodate as many patients as our mobiles can support.
