Our Prices

Cats

Cats must be over 2 pounds and at least 8 weeks old. If your male has undescended testicals (cryptorchid) and is over 6 months old, we will neuter him at no additional charge. If he is under 6 months, we may recommend waiting until he is older. There is No extra charge if your female is in heat or pregnant. All cats will be tattooed at surgery site. Prices include pain medication. If you own a "squished face" breed or if your pet is over 7 years old, you will be required to sign a high risk.

Please note-if your male cat has an undecended testicle, the charge will be double.

Ferals

Free

We love to help the feral colonies!  We provide free spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, and flea treatment for each feral.  They all get an ear tip as well.  It costs us $50 per cat, so if you would like to donate toward your feral, we appreciate it, but it is not necessary! Any donation you make is tax deductible.  


Dogs

Dogs must be over 2 pounds and at least 8 weeks old. If your male has undescended testicles the charge is DOUBLE. No extra charge if your female is in heat or is pregnant. All dogs are tattooed at their surgery site.The prices below include pain medication to go home. Please Scroll down to read additional breed information. If your pet is over 7 years old, you will be required to sign a high risk waiver.

Additional Charges

We offer vaccines, microchips, and FeLV/FIV tests at our clinic. The animal must be old enough to receive the vaccines, and must already be spayed or neutered. (We can vaccinate or test your pet the day of surgery). You are welcome to come in between 10am and 12pm, Tues-Thurs to receive vaccines for your pet.

Puppies and kittens require a series of vaccines to build up immunity to common diseases.  Generally the series starts at 8 weeks and your pet will need a booster once a month for three months.  After the final booster, your pet will need a booster in a year, and then every three years to maintain immunity.

Pain Medication

Included in surgery prices. For post surgical care ONLY. For dogs over 4 months old.

Sedatives

For post surgical care ONLY.  3 days for most dogs-puppies receive 2 days, and crypt-orchid males will receive 5 days.

Plastic Cone

Highly recommended for all dogs.

Soft Cones

 Available for cats and small dogs only.

Antibiotics

Only prescribed by the veterinarian if necessary for post surgical needs.


Deciduous Teeth (Baby Teeth)

We can extract "baby teeth" that have not fallen out on their own while your pet is under anesthesia for their spay/neuter. Their adult teeth need to be all the way in for us to safely remove deciduous teeth.

Additional Price Information for Specific Breeds

Brachycephalic "Squished face" dogs such as English/ French Bulldogs, Pugs

These types of breeds may require additional medications prior to their surgery, as well as extensive post operative monitoring to insure a safe recovery. You will be required to sign a high risk waiver prior to surgery if your pet is approved for surgery by our veterinarian

There may be an additional charge for these breeds-call for info.

Please Note:

While we love to help all of our furry friends with their spay/neuter surgery, if your pet is a purchased purebred or "designer dog" we recommend you use your regular full service vet for spay/neuter services.  Our nonprofit is here to help those in financial need.
