Since the stand-alone facility opened in Simi Valley in 2009, we have performed over 100,000 spay/neuter procedures on cats and dogs. In addition to our main undertaking which is spay/neuter, our staff will go the extra mile by providing humane medical treatment to animals in need so they can live a healthier life. We also work with volunteers who trap feral/stray cats and we provide spay/neuter for these un-owned cats as well.
The resolve, enthusiasm and complete love of animals by all of the employees and volunteers is incredible to see and dear to my heart. All of our staff is dedicated to helping decrease the amount of unwanted animals that enter the shelter system and we know the best way to combat that is through spay and neuter.
Every Tuesday our "Winnie" Team heads out to different locations, mainly in Ventura County, to spay and neuter pets. Dr. Anderson is the vet who performs surgery on this mobile unit. Steve Caines is the RVT on duty, and with the help of Travis Killian and Joselyn, the surgeries always go very smoothly.
Our Palmdale clinic is one of our most popular mobile clinics! Dr. Gupta spays and neuters at least 30 animals every Wednesday and Friday. Steve Caines is the vet tech on board. Travis Killian or Zac Bowman assist both the vet tech and the vet with surgical prep and recovery. Joselyn is the receptionist on duty and will answer any questions you may have! Our receptionist can also assist you with scheduling your feral cats for transport to Simi Valley for spay/neuter on select Thursdays!
